After receiving brutal tortures from Fulcrum, Cole is able to flee from there. The duo comprising of Sarah and Casey is assigned a new mission. This mission involved seizing a scientist, who is prime party involved in chalking a blue print to realize Fulcrum’s plans to have its own Intersect. The team code-names this scientist as Perseus. The fail in their pursuit to capture the scientist and end up being captured by Fulcrum. Chuck and Cole rescue them. Chuck discovers the work laboratory of this scientist. A new revelation welcomes Chuck, that a man code-named as Orion was mastermind behind the entire project to build the Fulcrum’s Intersect. Sarah is in two minds to choose either Chuck or Cole. Her confusion subsides when she decides to choose Chuck. Morgan realizes that he has a strong inner urge to live alongside Anna.
